If he did regret it, he wouldn't have stayed with her I also don't think he regretted it in True Law ending, he was likely just shocked and dissapointed that she never told him. This last part means that Toby likely already knows, but doesn't mind much and stays with her. Also the True Rin Ending shows that her and Toby are still together as a couple and plan on working as wrestlers. It also shows a lot about her as a person in the Rin Route and I like how she supports Vincent as he realizes he loves Rin regardless of gender. I also really dislike the way Classic treats Erica, both in the story and that one line.įull Body likes Erica better, it goes out of it's way to give her a lot of screentime and censoring the blatant transphobia. So much could have been done with this idea, with maybe Toby figuring out whether he wants to have a relationship with a trans woman or not but instead Catherine Classic turns it into "haha funni joke" with that ending. This is clearly an scenario that wouldn't happen IRL, and it's also kinda nonsense. A man would do the same, I know I would if I was surrounded by women as awful as the men Erica is.Ībout the part about her sleeping with Toby, I'm conflicted about that. Aside from Vincent and Jonny, the other men around her are garbage. However, it makes sense from her perspective. The point of this game is to show that relationships are complicated and that people are flawed, but some relationships can be fixed and some people can improve. Vincent cheated, Jonny tells the girl he is with that he doesn't love her and wants to butt in on Katherine's relationship, Todd sleeps around with younger women, Archie is Archie, and Daniel ignores the women he loves until the end. The part about how Erica is judgmental about the man around her makes sense because, well, aside from Toby, Orlando, and some of the sheep most men around her are pretty awful in how they treat women. You're entitled to your own opinion, so I'll just put mine.
